Its members are comprised of both students and parents. Project Graduation |
Project Graduation is an all night celebration of graduates sponsored by the PTSA. This event encourages students to have fun and "hang out" with friends without the use of drugs, alcohol or violence. A safe environment is created at the Gwinnett YMCA with games, prizes, food, and music. |

This program is sponsored by the National PTA and gives students a chance to show their talent in the area of photography, visual arts, story writing, dance, video production and music composition. The competition takes place during the Fall Semester.

Senior Activities: Senior Baccalaureate |
A subcommittee of the Senior Activities Committee that is responsible for the coordination of the commemoration ceremony of your student’s years at Brookwood High School. This committee operates in conjunction with the teacher responsible for senior affairs. Involvement with this committee entails setting the event's location and time, obtaining the guest speaker, and other related tasks. |

This Committee is composed of two students from each grade level and 1-2 adults. The committee promotes Red Ribbon Week, educates students using the fatal vision glasses and other events which can vary from year to year. This gives the students an opportunity to voice their concerns or ideas to be brought forth to the board. |

The Sunshine Committee's purpose is to recognize both joyous and unfortunate events of teachers, staff, students, board members, and their immediate families. Remembrances are made in the form of cards, memorial gifts to appropriate charities, or the placement of a book in the media center in memory of that person. |

Volunteers |
The Volunteers Committee is responsible for providing volunteers for all school events as well as volunteers on a regular basis to the Attendance Office, Check-in/Out, and the Media Center. Some of the events that require volunteer staffing are: Teacher Back-to School Luncheon, newsletter distribution, and other ongoing events by all committees throughout the year. |
