Sheila Boales	Freshmen Connections	The goal of this committee is to help transfer students and rising freshmen along with their families with their transition to Brookwood High School. Its members are comprised of both students and parents. Through school tours and other vehicles, the committee acts as a resource to families as they become acclimated to their new Brookwood community.
Debbie Hernick	Communications	The Communications Committee is responsible for the distribution of information via the PTSA listserve.
April McKay	Environmental	This committee will focus on educating and initiating various programs in our community related to the environment.
Kathy Steahr	Health	This committee will sponsor programs throughout the year related to health issues that affect our students. Heart Screen for Teens will be one of the first programs.
Leanne Woodard Patricia Sheer	Hospitality	The goal of the Hospitality Committee is to provide recognition of and show appreciation for the Brookwood High School faculty, support staff and bus drivers. This is done by sponsoring luncheons and providing gifts and special treats for them.
Stacy Robinson	Job Fair	Help facilitate the Job Fair to help students with their interview skills, etc.
Jenny Fitzgerald	Legislative	Keeps up with the legislative issues dealing with education on the local, state and national levels. The updates are then sent out through the BHS List Serve to update the community.
Holly Melton Lisa Tartaglione	Membership	The Membership Committee promotes PTSA membership, enrolls members, and distributes membership cards.
Carolyn Mohsen	Miss Brookwood	This is a PTSA Fund Raising event where sophomores, juniors and seniors girls can participate. The participants attend workshops, afternoon Tea, Interview sessions and have the possibility of receiving Scholarships.
Cynthia Martin	Parent and Youth Services	Focus on programs for parent awareness, support and education.
OPEN	Project Graduation	Project Graduation is an all night celebration of graduates sponsored by the PTSA. This event encourages students to have fun and "hang out" with friends without the use of drugs, alcohol or violence. A safe environment is created at the Gwinnett YMCA with games, prizes, food, and music.
Akila Suresh Teri Towey	Reflections	This program is sponsored by the National PTA and gives students a chance to show their talent in the area of photography, visual arts, story writing, dance, video production and music composition. The competition takes place during the Fall Semester.
Emily Cowdrick Colette Hamann	Senior Activities: Senior Baccalaureate	A subcommittee of the Senior Activities Committee that is responsible for the coordination of the commemoration ceremony of your student’s years at Brookwood High School. This committee operates in conjunction with the teacher responsible for senior affairs. Involvement with this committee entails setting the event's location and time, obtaining the guest speaker, and other related tasks.
Ann Sorsdahl	Senior Activities: Senior Breakfast	A subcommittee of the Senior Activities Committee that provides breakfast for all Seniors prior to graduation practice that is held on the last day of school.
Olivette Freeman	Senior Activities: Senior Picnic	A subcommittee of the Senior Activities Committee that provides a picnic at the end of the senior year.�
Donna Cook	Student Directory	The Student Directory Committee is responsible for the production and distribution of the Brookwood High School student directory.
Zorrest Millman Janet Johnson	Student Representative	This Committee is composed of two students from each grade level and 1-2 adults. The committee promotes Red Ribbon Week, educates students using the fatal vision glasses and other events which can vary from year to year. This gives the students an opportunity to voice their concerns or ideas to be brought forth to the board.
Andrea Pace	Sunshine	The Sunshine Committee's purpose is to recognize both joyous and unfortunate events of teachers, staff, students, board members, and their immediate families. Remembrances are made in the form of cards, memorial gifts to appropriate charities, or the placement of a book in the media center in memory of that person.

Suzanne Holley Attendance Office Margie Caldwell Check in/out Karen McMillan Helping Hands & Hearts Liz Gouge Media Center/Clinic	Volunteers	The Volunteers Committee is responsible for providing volunteers for all school events as well as volunteers on a regular basis to the Attendance Office, Check-in/Out, and the Media Center. Some of the events that require volunteer staffing are: Teacher Back-to School Luncheon, newsletter distribution, and other ongoing events by all committees throughout the year.
